The July Fossil of the Month is a TOP QUALITY, LARGE Megalodon tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from Borrell Creek, So. Carolina. Note - This site produces a small number of teeth with copper-red colors with quality similar to the best teeth from the No. Carolina copper-red site. This tooth has a fantastic copper-red crown with high quality enamel and an extra large dark brown colored bourlette. The bourlette is perfect. Exceptional color. The serrations are sharp and essentially complete. Root is nicely articulated and complete. Excellent colors. NO repair! A GORGEOUS copper-red Megalodon tooth which is near perfect.
