Tyrannosaurus rex
A very rare, Gem Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth. This first maxillary tooth measures 2-1/4". A March Fossil of the Month. The enamel has excellent color and patina. Exceptional anterior and excellent posterior serrations. The anterior serrations are perfect - quite rare! Base cross-section is a wide oval. No horizontal cracks. No repair or restoration. A 100% natural tooth. A gem quality tooth! T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey.
