    "The Best of West Java". An EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site.  A July Fossil of the Month. The "West Java Brown" Meg tooth.This Megalodon has an excellent muli-tone "brown" colored crown which is a mix of browns & blue color shades and an excellent black & gold colored bourlette (a unique color found in West Java). Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color! The bourlette is extra large and 90% complete. The serrations are razor sharp with an excellent tip serration. Excellent serrations for a BIG Meg tooth. The root on the display side is very good with some pits and the reverse side has small shallow pits which is typical for a West Java Meg. An excellent root overall. Miocene Age. No repair or restoration. Authenticity Guaranteed. A rare BIG Indonesian Meg tooth. Note - The mixed "brown" colors (with charcoal or blue ) is another unique color pattern for these West Java Meg teeth. You will not see many BIG West Java Megs with complete roots!
