A Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth from a larger T. Rex from So. Dakota. A dentary tooth. An October Fossil of the Month. This Rex crown measures 2-1/4" (straight line) and 15/16" wide. Enamel wall is thick from a young adult Rex. The enamel is excellent quality. Great dark chocolate brown color. The anterior and posterior serrations are excellent. Serrated to the tip - a recently erupted tooth. A great larger Rex tooth!  T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey.
