An ultra rare, Top Quality Red Site Otodus (Carcharocles) chubutensis tooth from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. The "Jaguar tooth". This Chub is an upper anterior jaw tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. NC005 has an excellent copper red color with black spots. The enamel is the highest quality. The serrations are large including a slightly damaged tip serration. Bourlette is dark brown and mostly complete. The root is complete. A Miocene Chubutensis tooth. No repair or restoration. An old collection piece from the rarest location to find a top quality Chubutensis tooth - rarer than Lee Creek, Peru, Bone Valley, etc. Authenticity guaranteed.
