The "Classic" Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from Aurora, No. Carolina. This Megalodon has an excellent blue & tan colored crown with a light tan stripe at the base and excellent light brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color! The bourlette is excellent and perfect with some bleaching. The serrations are razor sharp with an excellent tip serration. The root is an excellent light brown color with very small hydration cracks and complete. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). One of the finest examples of a "Classic" Lee Creek Megalodon tooth considering the shape, color, and preservation. An exceptional collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine! NO repair!
