A HIGH QUALITY Lee Creek Chubutensis tooth - upper jaw lateral tooth from Aurora, No. Carolina. This Chubutensis has a nice brown colored crown with a brown bourlette. High quality enamel. Good color! The bourlette looks great, and is complete. The serrations are sharp with a good tip. The root is a dark brown color with small hydration cracks. This Chubutensis was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). A good example of a classic Lee Creek Chubutensis tooth considering the shape and preservation. A nice collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine! NO repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.
