A rare, Top Quality Abelisaurid dinosaur tooth from the Cretaceous Kem Kem deposits of Morocco. This is a premaxillary (front) tooth with a "D" shaped base cross-section. Once thought to be a raptor tooth, it is now clear that the Abelisaurid, a family of ceratosaurian theropod dinosaurs, was the dominate smaller theropod in the late Cretaceous Kem Kem deposit. Excellent brown color and serrations. Excellent preservation. A fantastic, rare Abelisaurid premaxillary tooth.
