An ULTRA RARE, GEM 6" Caribbean Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. A July 2020 Fossil of the Month offering. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible light tan colored crown with a few charcoal highlights. Highest quality enamel with no hydration cracks. The bourlette is large, white color, and perfect! Fantastic color. One of the finest bourlettes that I have seen! The serrations are razor sharp and 100% complete. Exceptional serrations for a BIG Meg! The root is complete and an excellent golden color and no hydration cracks. Note - this tooth has professional restoration to the root ends only. Otherwise a perfect tooth. Excellent symmetry. This Megalodon was found in a commercial limestone quarry in the Caribbean (Miocene age). This is an incredibly colored Caribbean Megalodon tooth. One of finest examples of an ultra rare Caribbean Megalodon tooth that is natural that I have seen. An exceptional, rare collector's Megalodon tooth! Museum Quality Megalodon. Authenticity guaranteed. Note - The limestone is sawed into thin blocks for extraction which totally destroys 99%+ of these Megalodon teeth. The teeth with minimal damage are restored for collectors.
