A Top Quality, Broad-tooth Mako shark tooth from a "depleted" land site in So.Carolina. Commonly referred to as Isurus hastalis, but renamed to Cosmopolitodus hastalis as a Great White shark ancestor. Note -  this is the "narrow form" of this species which evolves in the early Miocene. Highest quality enamel. A very glossy Blue & Tan colored crown with very small hydration cracks. Fantastic color! Sharp cutting edges. An excellent root with small hydration cracks. Great symmetry. No repair or restoration. An excellent color collector's Mako tooth! Authenticity guarantee.
