Isurus hastalis (Cosmopolitodus hastalis)

A Top Quality, Broad-tooth Mako shark tooth from So.Carolina. Commonly referred to as Isurus hastalis, but renamed to Cosmopolitodus hastalis as a Great White shark ancestor. Note -  this is the "narrow form" of this species which evolves in the early Miocene. Highest quality enamel. A very glossy Blue & Tan colored crown with very small hydration cracks. Fantastic color!
