An incredible Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis tooth. A May Fossil of the Month. This Allosaurus crown measures 1-9/16", and it is displayed on its Morrison Fm. matrix with a crocodile jaw bone. The enamel is highest quality. Great rich brown color. Exceptional posterior and anterior serrations. Excellent overall condition and serrations. No repair or restoration. Allosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Bone Cabin Quarry, Como Bluff, Wyoming. Authenticity guaranteed. A rare big collector's tooth!
