A rare Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis tooth with a partial root. This Allosaurus tooth measures 1-9/16". The enamel is highest quality. Great rich brown color. Very good posterior and anterior serrations. Very good overall condition and serrations. Normal crack fill. No restoration. Allosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Moffat Co., Colorado. Authenticity guaranteed.  Note - a Gem case display is included. A rare collector's rooted tooth.
