Two Top Quality Scyphocrinites elegans crinoids from Alnif, Morocco. A December Fossil of the Month. The Scyphocrinites crinoid was a floating variety which was attached to a holdfast air bladder that supported multiple stems and calyx ("flower"). This large crinoid has a bulbous calyx with incredible detail. The upper crinoid has a long stem section of 4-1/2". These crinoids make fantastic display pieces. Museum Quality specimen. Well preserved, large Scyphocrinites elegans crinoids. These crinoids have a bulbous calyx with incredible detail. These crinoids make fantastic display pieces. A fantastic specimen display.
