A LARGE Top Quality, Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - lower jaw anterior tooth from Aurora, No. Carolina. This Megalodon has an excellent tan colored crown and a fantastic tan colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional color! The bourlette is extra large and 99% complete. The serrations are razor sharp. The root is an excellent light brown color with typical hydration cracks, and absolutely complete. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). An exceptional collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine! The enamel is the Highest Quality with very small hydration cracks. A Large Mahogany Brown colored bourlette which is nearly complete.
