    An EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY Classic Lee Creek Chubutensis tooth - upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth from Aurora, No. Carolina. This Chubutensis has an excellent tan colored crown and a nice brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Great color! The serrations are large and razor sharp with a partially worn tip. The root is an excellent gray color and complete with one hydration crack. The root also exhibits grooves on the root ends. This Chubutensis was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). A great example of a classic Lee Creek Chubutensis tooth and one of the best considering the shape, color, and preservation. A rare, BIG collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine!
