LC047            Size: 5"

A GEM, 5" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. This Meg has an incredible light tan colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel - essentially no hydration cracks! Exceptional color! The bourlette is excellent and near perfect. The serrations are large and razor sharp with some damage to a few. An excellent tip serration. Excellent serrations! The root is an excellent tan color and absolutely complete. Excellent anterior symmetry! This Megalodon was found in the Yorktown Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Pliocene age = 5 MYA). This tooth is from an old collection. One of the finest examples of a classic upper jaw anterior Lee Creek Megs considering the shape, color, and preservation. An exceptional collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine! NO repair! The BEST of the BEST! One of my favorites. It will be difficult to find another Meg like this one.
