The PERFECT, "Blue" Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from Aurora, No. Carolina. A May Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an excellent blue & tan colored crown and excellent dark brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional color! The bourlette is excellent and perfect. The serrations are razor sharp with an excellent tip serration and perfect. The root is an excellent light brown color with small hydration cracks and complete. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). One of the finest examples of a "Blue" Lee Creek Megalodon tooth considering the shape, color, and preservation. An exceptional collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine! A PERFECT tooth.
