An EXTRA LARGE, GEM Abelisaurid dinosaur tooth from Morocco. Once thought to be a raptor tooth, it is now clear that the Abelisaurid, a family of ceratosaurian theropod dinosaurs, was the dominate smaller theropod in the late Cretaceous Kem-Kem deposit. Excellent light red color and serrations. Excellent preservation. A fantastic big Abelisaurid tooth. Nearly maximum size! Note - A gem jar will be included as photographed.
M1251 Size: 1-1/16"
Note - 10 new Abelisaurid teeth added in November 2017. Link to Abeliasurid teeth
