A rare, GEM Quality juvenile Miocene-Pliocene Mastodon molar from Florida. A February Fossil of the Month. This is an extinct elephant ancestor that inhabited North America during the late Miocene to late Pliocene. This molar has 3 cusp rows with no cusp wear. So, this is an unerupted tooth. Exceptional articulation. Fantastic red color! This is an exceptionally well fossilized Mastodon specimen. Note - Comes complete with custom stand as pictured. No damage. No restoration or repair. A rare, Top Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site. A June Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible BLACK tooth with some light gray swirls and an excellent JET BLACK colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color! The bourlette is large and 98% complete. The serrations are razor sharp and complete with an excellent tip serration. Exceptional serrations. The root is excellent - nicely articulated and with few, very small shallow pits which is common for these Megs. Miocene Age. No repair or restoration. Authenticity Guaranteed.
