Allosaurus / Torvosaurus

A Top Quality juvenile, Torvosaurus tanneri tooth. This Torvosaurus crown measures 11/16". The enamel is high quality. Great rich dark brown color. Fair posterior serrations and anterior serrations are worn. Note - the anterior carina end about 1/3 of the way down from the tip. Good overall condition and serrations. No repair or restoration. Torvosaurus was a large predator during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. An Ultra Rare, rooted Top Quality Allosaurus fragilis tooth measuring 3-3/8". This Allosaurus crown measures 1-1/2" and is wide for its size (5/8"). The enamel is high quality. Great rich brown color. Very good serrations on both sides all the way to the wear facet. Very good serrations for a large tooth. Two cracks was stabilizied. A little repair was done on the narrowest section of the root. Excellent overall condition with very good serrations. An excellent quality tooth!
