A rare, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens toe hoof core (toe or pes ungual) from the late Cretaceous of North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell & Lance Creek formations. This colorful large toe hoof core is thick (from an outer toe - see diagram). Bone quality is exceptional. Minor crack fill was stabilized. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Lance Creek Fm., Niobrara Co., Wyoming. An exceptional collector's quality Edmontosaurus toe hoof core. Authenticity guaranteed. Lance Fm. hoof cores are really difficult to find!
