A Top Quality, Extra Large Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. Please note that this tooth could Albertosaurus, Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. This tooth measures 2-7/16" - an excellent BIG Tyrannosaur tooth. Note - this is a big "beefy" tooth (15/16"W x 3/4" H). The enamel is high quality with excellent color and patina. This tooth position would be in the front of the jaw. Anterior and posterior serrations are excellent. A small facet at the tip. No cracks, repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., McCone Co., Montana. Probably an excellent Daspletosaurus tooth based on size and roundness of the tooth cross-section. Authenticity guaranteed. An excellent collector's BIG Tyrannosaur tooth.
