A LARGE, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens toe from the late Cretaceous of North America. A July Fossil of the Month. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. This is a non-associated set of toe bones from the outer toe (toe II - see diagram), and it consists of two toe bones (Phalanx 1 & 2) and a pes hoof core (ungual). Bone quality is excellent. These pieces are perfect including the exceptional pes ungual. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powdwer River & Carter Co., Montana.
