A rare,Top Quality Suwanee Auriculatus tooth from northern Florida. An exceptional upper jaw lateral tooth. Gorgeous charcoal gray colored crown with a brown colored bourlette, and brown root. A serrated Top Quality Tyrannosaur juvenile premaxillary tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian - Two Medicine Fm.) in northern North America. Please note that this tooth could Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. This tooth measures 13/16" -  an excellent juvenile premaxillary (front) Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is high quality with excellent color. This premax tooth is fully serrated, and the serrations are incredible. Serrated to the tip with an excellent unworn tip. No crack, repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Two Medicine Fm., Glacier Co., Montana. A LARGE, VERY RARE, Top Quality, partially rooted Leptoceratops gracilis tooth from the late Cretaceous of western North America. Leptoceratops is a smaller "ceratopsian" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance formations. There small size and small horns made them relatively easy prey and their population size was quite small compared to other herbivores. The enamel is high quality with nice color and patina. The chewing surface is well preserved with no wear facet. Leptoceratops commonly have wear facets on their teeth.  No cracks. No restoration. A very rare, Top Quality Edestus heinrichi shark tooth, from Herrin, Illinois. This is a Paleozoic shark that lived in swamps that our now underground coal deposits. An incredible brown colored specimen - very unusual. Excellent preservation, serrations, and serration detail. The Edestus shark would have an upper and lower tooth whorl that are vertically opposed. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion or a vertical whipping motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically. A very strange looking and unique acting shark. Shark recreation image is credited to Julio Lacerdo. These rare teeth are Pennsylvanian age from Illinois. An ULTRA RARE Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis skull section from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A February Fossil of the Month. This is a post orbital skull section covered with 12+ spikes. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the Pachy skull. This skull section has exceptional color and patina. Note the incredible blood grooves in the bone. It is a complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. Legally collected on private land in the Lance Creek Fm., Niobrara Co., Wyoming.
