A LARGE, Top Quality Abelisaurid dinosaur tooth from the Cretaceous Kem Kem deposits of Morocco. Once thought to be a "raptor" tooth, it is now clear that these teeth are Abelisaurid, a family of ceratosaurian theropod dinosaurs the unique straight posterior carina. A natural Hoploscaphites nebrascensis ammonite with excellent preservation of the shell material. The ammonite shell has some natural iridescence. This ammonite species exhibits big ribs with multiple rows of tubercles (nodes). This specimen is sits in an original Pierre Shale nodule with a flat base for a great display. This ammonite is from the upper Cretaceous, Pierre Shale Fm. of So. Dakota. Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic display piece.

A LARGE, Top Quality Carcharodon hastalis, Broad-tooth Mako, shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from the Bahia Iglesa Fm. of Chile. This tooth has a light blue crown and a tan root. Excellent color! Razor sharp cutting edge with three cutting edge waves at the base of the crown - a very unusual pathology. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. Perfect tooth. This is a premaxillary (front) tooth with a "D" shaped base cross-section. Once thought to be a "raptor" tooth, it is now clear that these teeth are Abelisaurid, a family of ceratosaurian theropod dinosaurs with the unique straight posterior carina. They were the dominate smaller theropod in the late Cretaceous Kem Kem deposit. Fantastic red color and serrations. Excellent preservation. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. An ultra rare, TOP QUALITY Spheniscus megaramphus , Penguin skull from the Bahia Iglesa Fm. of central Chile. A March Fossil of the Month. An excellent, large skull and beak. There are several penguin species described from this site, but I only seen 7 or 8 of these skulls ofered for sale 20-25 years ago. This is the largest penguin from this site. My largest and best example.

A very rare, early Otodus mugodzharicus upper jaw, posterior tooth from Aktulagay, western Kazakhstan. A transitional tooth leading to C. auriculatus (see detailed discussion below) which leads to Megalodon. The bourlette is complete. Tooth exhibits very fine serrations along the inner curve of the crown only. These teeth exhibit very good color, gloss, and preservation. A rare, early Eocene Auriculatus transition tooth. A very challenging tooth to find when building a Megalodon evolutionary set! A very rare, early Otodus pavlovi upper jaw, lateral tooth from Aktulagay, western Kazakhstan. Otodus pavlovi was the smaller Otodus shark species present in this early Eocene deposit. The side cusps are large and complete. Exhibits no serrations. These teeth exhibit very good color, gloss, and preservation. No repair. Authenticity guaranteed. Perfect tooth.
