A group of six TOP QUALITY, Metasequoia dakotensis cones on original Hell Creek Formation matrix from Montana. These "dinosaur age" pine cones are found in the Hell Creek Formation of Dawson Co., Montana. A March Fossil of the Month.   These Upper Cretaceous pine cones are high quality with great preservation.They are fully inflated spheres and maximun size (redwoods produce very small cones for their size!). The Metasequoia is the "dawn redwood", and it is one of the three redwood conifers species. Authenticity guaranteed. An incredible display piece.

An Ultra Rare, Hexanchus griseus symphyseal tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. This is complete lower jaw symphyseal tooth. A rare male shark. Superb preservation and color. Two well preserved horse teeth (Equus sp. ) and a deer tooth (Odocoileus sp.) from Okeechobee, Florida.  The horse arrived in North America during the late Pliocene and became extinct at the end of the Pleistocene. Deer arrived in No. America in the mid-Miocene. These teeth reside on their original hard sandstone matrix. Lots of prep time required to expose these teeth. Very well fossilized specimens. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A great display piece!

An ultra rare, top quality 3" Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. A July 2019 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon tooth remains on the original matrix block which includes three ~3" whale bones - all original as found! Highest quality enamel with a great white color. A well preserved, rare Scyphocrinites elegans crinoid holdfast from Morocco. The crinoid stem attached to these floating holdfasts. The Scyphocrinites crinoids were floating crinoids and their holdfast was actually an air bladder that supported multiple stems and calyx. This holdfast is bulbous with a fantastic detail. A peg stand is included as in the photos. These crinoid holdfasts make excellent fantastic display pieces. A "Flying" TOP QUALITY Walliserops trifurcatus trilobite, the "trident Comura".  A November Fossil of the Month and one of the collector's favorite spiny trilobites. Walliserops trifurcatus is an unusual looking species with three rows of of spines run down its back and a trident-like fork extending from the front of the cephalon. The preparation is German controlled with all original colors and no restoration. Exceptional completeness and preservation. Great natural black shell with excellent luster. The bottom of this trilobite has been cleaned out and it sits on an 1" matrix pedestal. A very difficult species to prepare. Excellent shell and spine preservation. Compound eyes are very good. An ULTRA Rare, TOP QUALITY Parotodus benedeni tooth from Sharktooth Hill, near Bakersfield California. A December 2022 Fossil of the Month. This tooth has a highly desirable light tan enamel and a very massive root. This Parotodus benedeni tooth remains mounted on the original Round Mountain Silt matrix and it is sitting on a chunk of whale bone. The crown enamel has very good luster and very sharp edges. Highest quality enamel! Note -  a small (~1/8") tip repair was professionally done.  A very difficult tooth to locate and an EXCEPTIONAL Collector's tooth!
