An ultra rare, TOP QUALITY, Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site.  This Megalodon has an incredible dark tan color and an excellent orange - brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Great color! The bourlette is large and essentially complete. The serrations are razor sharp with an excellent tip serration. Excellent serrations for a BIG Meg. The root is excellent - nicely articulated with dark brown color on the display side and shallow pitting on the non-display side which is all to common for these Megs. Miocene Age. A beautifully prepared, GEM QUALITY Comura bultyncki trilobite. The collector's favorite spiny trilobite. An April Fossil of the Month. Dozens of large spines fully exposed requiring many dozens of hours of air abrasion. One of the most difficult species to prepare. The Comura has very ornate spiny trilobite design with excellent compound eyes! Excellent shell and spine preservation. Large size. A scarce species! The ultimate Middle Devonian (390 mya) spiny trilobite from the Oufaten area, Atlas Mts., Morocco. Authenticity guaranteed. A very rare, early Otodus mugodzharicus upper jaw, lateral tooth from Aktulagay, western Kazakhstan. A transitional tooth leading to C. auriculatus (see detailed discussion below) which leads to Megalodon. A November Fossil of the Month.The bourlette is complete. Tooth exhibits "wavy serrated" edges similar to the Isurus escheri tooth. These teeth exhibit very good color, gloss, and preservation. A rare, early Eocene Auriculatus transition tooth. A very challenging tooth to find when building a Megalodon evolutionary set! No repair. Authenticity guaranteed. This western Kazakhstan site is one of the few places in the world where the Otodus to Auriculatus transition can be found in adjacent layers. Note - This is my last offering of Aktluagay teeth.
