A pair of very attractive rostrum and oral Micropristis teeth. Perfect teeth. Great color and preservation. These teeth are very difficult to locate. Sold as a set of 2 teeth.

Unusual teeth from a rare and very unique Cretaceous shark, Micropristis solomonis - a Sclerorhynchidae shark (a Cretaceous Saw shark family). Both rostal and oral teeth are included. These are complete species showing exceptional preservation. Specimens of this quality are very difficult to locate. Cretaceous (Lower Santonian - approx. 75 million years ago), Tykbutak, Aktiubinsk region, W. Kazakhstan. Note - specimens are sold as a set of one rostrum tooth and one oral teeth inside a lucite display case. Note - all teeth sizes are slant height unless otherwise noted.
