Shrimp - an Early Crustacean These are an early form of a very popular crustacean, the shrimp. These Lebanese fossil shrimp exhibit incredible preservation and exquisite detail. They are late Cretaceous in age. Note - I heard an uninformed buyer suggest the Lebanese shrimp were "painted on" by an artist. Not so - you can see the "pearly" sheen from the shell of these shrimp. They are exquisite fossils that can be purchased at a incredibly reasonable price for now. An exceptional value. Get them while they last... Close Up Photo. Click on photos to enlarge.
