Other Moroccan Sharks - Catalog #3
This catalog contains exceptional
material
from a variety of highly collectable Moroccan shark material. The age of
these shark specimens are Cretaceous (Albian - 110 million
years ago). The large size and top quality condition of these shark teeth make
them uncommon, very collectable, and a great addition to your shark teeth collection. All
of these specimens come from the South of Taouz,
Kem-kem basin area of Morocco. Notes:
1. These Hybodus spines are quite rare. Most
often they are removed from their desert home in sections and have to be put
back together. The spine segments fit very nicely together and the "seems"
may or may not be detectable in in the photos or in hand. Complete spines
with no repair are extremely rare and very expensive!
2. These Onchoprisitis rostal teeth are fairly
scarce. Most often they are removed from their desert home in sections and
have to be put back together. The tooth segments fit very nicely together
and the "seems" may or may not be detectable in in the photos or in hand.
Also, the natural state color of these teeth are not very attractive to say the
least. Thus, these teeth are typically colorized to add to their appeal. The
teeth we offer are of very high quality and any repair work was done quite well.
3. All teeth sizes are slant height unless otherwise
noted. Click on photos to enlarge.
