Isurus
retroflexus
These some of the finest examples of the rare Isurus
retroflexus that I have seen. The crowns are very wide and the enameloid build up "shoulders" on the reverse side of the root
are very
pronounced and elevation off of the root face is significant. No
mistaking these teeth. This is an incredible
selection of rare extra
large, Miocene age beauties. The finest Isurus
retroflexus specimens that I have
seen! A very challenging tooth to find at
this site.
