Gorgeous copper red colored teeth found in Hertford County in NE North Carolina. Please note that these Isurus teeth are noted for their unique copper red color and excellent preservation. This color is rarely seen  -  adding to the value of these Makos. All teeth listed are near museum quality or better. Absolutely NO restoration or repair in this group! Try finding one of these species with the rare copper red colors!

Isurus retroflexus

These some of the finest examples of the rare Isurus retroflexus that I have seen. The crowns are very wide and the enameloid build up "shoulders" on the reverse side of the root is very pronounced and elevation off of the root face is significant. No mistaking these teeth. This is an incredible selection of  rare extra large, Miocene age beauties. Some of the finest specimens that I have seen!
