| Peru - Isurus desori (Narrow-tooth Mako) This catalog contains beautiful teeth from the narrow-tooth Mako shark - Isurus desori. These teeth are noted for their narrow bladed crown which curves lingually and elongate pointed root lobes. This Peruvian site produces excellent I. desori teeth. These teeth are complete with great color and preservation. Note - nearly all jaw positions are represented - a great opportunity to build a dentition. These are great collector's teeth. These teeth are from the early Miocene (approx. 20 million years old) found near Ica, Peru. Catalog updated on September 10, 2006. Note - all teeth sizes are slant height unless otherwise noted.
