Peru - Galeocerdo contortus
(Extinct Tiger shark)
This catalog contains beautiful teeth from
an extinct Tiger
shark - Galeocerdo contortus. These teeth are complete with great color and
preservation. Note - many jaw positions are represented - a great
opportunity to build a dentition. These are great
collector's
teeth. These teeth are from the early Miocene (approx. 20 million years old)
found near Ica, Peru. Catalog updated
on June 29, 2003.
Note - all teeth sizes are slant height unless otherwise
