About the French Localities - These rare teeth were collected in quarries in the Heming and Sarrebourg areas, Lorraine, France. The teeth are from Muschelkalk limestone - middle Triassic age (240 million years old). These teeth are wonderfully preserved - excellent condition.

Nothosaurus mirabilis 

This catalog contains exceptional and rare teeth from Nothosaurus mirabilis, a primitive marine reptile. It was about 13 ft long with webbed toes and needle-like teeth. It is believed to be the ancestor to the Pleisosaurs.
