Sharktooth Hill - Hexanchus andersoni

This catalog contains teeth from the cow shark - Hexanchus andersoni. The highly desirable lower jaw teeth are noted for their wide root topped with saw-like row of cusps. These teeth are very scarce. Upper and lower jaw teeth included!

 A near GEM, rare lower jaw lateral tooth.  Very nice  color. Ten cusps with minor damage to one. The tooth mostly likely cracked and put back together very nicely. You need a 10x power lens to see a faint crack. None the less, this is an exceptional example of a rare tooth. A very difficult teeth to find.    Reverse Photo.
