About the Peru Locality - 

Locality #1 - Excellent Great White shark teeth are found in the Pliocene Pisco Formation (approx. 3 million years ago), near Sacaco, Peru. The subject teeth are much nicer than most of the commercial teeth available exhibiting superior coloration and condition. These are beautiful teeth that are nicer than the photos depict.

Locality #2 - Well preserved early Giant White shark teeth are dug from the Miocene Caballos Formation (approx. 20 million years ago), on the West bank of Rio Ica, Peru.

Carcharocles megalodon 

This catalog contains exceptional teeth from the Giant White shark - Carcharocles megaolodon. These teeth are noted for their well defined triangular crown and extra large, well defined serrations. The serrations on the Peruvian Megs are incredibly long and well defined. Some of the finest Megs that you will see with exceptional preservation and color. Miocene age. Peru produces some of the finest Megs known - however, the best are quite rare!

An AWESOME , LARGE  Megalodon tooth with a tan crown, a brown bourlette, and a brown colored root. There is no enamel peel. The bourlette is extra large and nicely colored. The root is complete and nicely articulated. Excellent color. The serrations are incredible - large and razor sharp. Carcharocles chubutensis 

This catalog contains exceptional teeth from an early Giant White shark - Carcharocles chubutensis, an immediate ancestor of C. megaolodon. These teeth are noted for their well defined triangular crown and side cusps with well defined serrations. Early Miocene age (20 million years ago). Peru produces some of the finest Chubutensis known - however, the best are quite rare!

Large and well defined side cusps.  Extra sharp serrations are incredible including a killer tip serration - 100% complete. The bourlette is a tan color and 100% complete.
