Alopias hermani - Thresher Shark A gorgeous early Thresher shark teeth from Tushbair, W. Kazakhstan. Note - Left photo --> upper data & right photo = bottom data. Burnhamia woodwardi - Devil Ray A rare Devil ray teeth from Tushbair Region, Mangyshlak, W. Kazakhstan. Note - Left photo --> upper data & right photo = bottom data. Echinorhinus zheleskovi - Bramble Shark These are rare, middle Eocene teeth (lower Bartonian - 40 mya) from Tushbair, W. Kazakhstan. Bramble shark teeth are always difficult to find. Sold in sets of three excellent quality teeth. Note - sold in groups of three teeth. Plastic case included.
Isurolamna inflata - Mackerel Shark These are Eocene teeth from Tushbiar, N. Mangyslak, W. Kazakhstan. This shark species rarely seen in Kazakhstan. Gorgeous teeth. More difficult to locate. Myliobatus toliapicus - Eagle Ray Gorgeous extinct Eagle ray mouth plates from River Sari, Karaganda Region, W. Kazakhstan (Early Eocene). Note - Left photo --> upper data & right photo = bottom data. Paratodus mangyshlakensis - Extinct Otodontid shark One of the rare species of the middle Eocene (lower Bartonian - 40 mya) from Tushbair, W. Kazakhstan. This is described as an early Paratodus. These teeth are quite large for this species. These new teeth represent two years worth of digging at the Tushbair site.
Paratodus pavlovi - Extinct Otodontid shark These are rare lower Eocene teeth (middle Ysperian - 50 mya) from Aktologay, W. Kazakhstan. This is described as a very early Paratodus.
Physogaleus secundus - Gray Shark These are Eocene teeth (Bartonian) from Karagie, W. Kazakhstan. This shark exhibit roots that protrudes on the lingual view. Note - these are sold as groups of two teeth. Note - Left photo --> upper data & right photo = bottom data. Physogaleus springeri - Gray Shark Very nice Gray shark teeth from the Tushbair region, W. Trigonotodus tusbairicus - Early Thresher Shark Another one of the rare species of the middle Eocene teeth (lower Bartonian - 40 mya) from Kert, W. Kazakhstan. The Trigonotodus represents the earliest occurrence of the Thresher sharks and is most likely the ancestor of the extinct Giant Thresher shark. Note the characteristic extra wide root. These are great examples of a rare early Thresher. These teeth are tough to locate!
