Small Cretaceous Species

Rare teeth from several difficult to find Cretaceous sharks and rays. Specimens of this quality are extremely difficult to locate. Cretaceous (Lower Santonian - approx. 85 million years ago), Tykbutak, Aktiubinsk region, W. Kazakhstan.

Excellent teeth from a rare and very unique Cretaceous shark, Pseudoheterodontus polydictios - a Hybodontid shark. Middle Cretaceous (upper Cenomanian - 100 million years ago), Nugaity, western Kazakhstan.

Unusual teeth from a rare and very unique Cretaceous shark, Ptychotrygon vermiculata - a Sclerorhynchoidei shark (a Cretaceous Saw shark family). Oral teeth are included.
